What is eyesdown photography about?

Sorry...it's not about bingo.

It is a website displaying an amateur photographers adventures around the UK and beyond. To put some generic labels on it, we are broadly looking at  travel, landscapes, urban (or street depending on what you want to call it) and macro / close up images.

In the blog I will talk about photography, travel and life in general.

Will there be any gear reviews?

While I may mention the equipment I use there will be no gear reviews I'm afraid. There are plenty of websites that can provide better information in that respect.

Are you going to tell us what equipment we should use?

No. Not at all. I have no idea what type of photography you do or interests you have.

I may talk about how I have taken a particular image but I would prefer you to take what you see and read here as a potential starting point for your own inspiration.

Why eyesdown photography?

On one of my previous websites there was a gallery - eyes down - taken by my son who had Down Syndrome. We used to go out and take photos together. When doing this new site I decided to name it eyesdown. A few of his pictures appear here.

Unfortunately he was tragically taken from us earlier this year.
